Now is the Time…

“The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of flowers whispers, ‘There is change in the air’ Arise my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.” -Song of Solomon 2:11-13 tPt

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God.” -2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV

“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” -Isaiah 43:19 NLT

“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” -Matthew 7:7 NLT

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” -Galatians 6:9 NLT

AT. JUST. THE. RIGHT. TIME.

And now is the time.

It’s just the right time.

Hang on, my friend. He is not just the Promise Giver – He is the Promise Keeper.

The season has changed. The time has changed. The time is now.

The road has been long. There have been disappointments…and confusion…and loss. But you’re still here.  You still have hope.

You still believe.

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. –Hebrews 11:6 NASB

That’s right, believing He is who He says He is, pleases Him. He is a rewarder of those who simply, sincerely, and persistently seek Him–regardless of what it looks like.

It doesn’t matter if it didn’t look pretty.

It doesn’t matter if it didn’t feel good all the time.

It’s okay if you didn’t get it all right.

You kept showing up.

That’s it. You kept showing up. You didn’t give up. You kept holding on to hope. You kept believing He is.

And you’re still saying “Amen” to all His promises.

“There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven.” -Ecclesiastes 3:1 NASB

There is a time for every purpose under heaven.

And now is the time.

**************

I was planning to write out a declaration regarding a personal promise, but before I got there, I sensed the Lord had a broader message. I really do believe a significant spiritual shift has taken place and that we are in the “beginning of the beginning” stages of seeing the fruit of many long awaited promises. I have been  declaring many of these specific scriptures for some time now–and I know many others have as well–but I’m going to just keep right on declaring them until faith becomes sight. He is faithful and He will be the final “Amen” to each and every promise He has made.

I wanted to include this particular painting of Aeron’s because I think it is so relevant to the times. There is a line in an old Vineyard song (Let Your Glory Fall) that goes like this: Ruler of the nations, the world has yet to see, the full release of Your promise, the Church in victory.  I believe that is so much of  what God is doing right now–preparing a victorious and overcoming Bride who will rightly represent Him on the earth. Oh God let this be the hour!

Amen! What a good word! God is not disappointed with us. Our times are in His hands. He is faithful.

It’s funny I wrote along similar lines to this (for tomorrow’s post). 🙂 I sense that God is up to some really good things for 2017. We’ve had several prophetic people in our church family sense this, too. I don’t even think we have a mental grid for what God is going to reveal and do through us this year, and in the coming years. Another shift is taking place we continue on our trajectory, going from glory to glory!

    1. Amen – super exciting times! It is especially exciting to me that so many people are sensing the same things. I can’t remember a time when I sensed such a “buzz” in the spiritual atmosphere. I think it is going to be quite a ride 😊I’ll be sure to watch for your post tomorrow. Happy and joy-filled new year to you, Mel!

  3. I’m in agreement, too Cindy. I sense great things for His Body this year. I sense we are closer to a Rev 19 white steed moment than ever. Time to be expectant, keep listening, walk holy and in the fear of the Lord.
