About Me

“I am my beloveds and He is mine.”

That is the most important thing you need to know about me.  I am loved by the greatest Lover of all and I love Him with all of my heart and soul and strength. He is my everything and He is worthy of my all.

In my life, giving Him my all has a lot to do with words. Whether it is in speaking them, praying them, or writing them, I long for my words to draw others closer to His heart.

Besides writing and speaking, most of my focus in ministry has been in the area prayer and I have led various prayer ministries and prayer teams both locally and globally for over twenty-five years. Currently I am the Director of The Arising Global which includes running the day-to-day operations of our “Prayer Furnace” in Redlands, CA (click here for more info). If you are ever in Redlands, be sure to stop by!

Although I am a peacemaker at heart, I can also be uncomfortably vocal when it comes to certain areas of injustice—particularly in the area of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.  As part of The Arising, I also serve as editor of Voices of Justice an online magazine/blog that “empowers, inspires, and releases voices in the fight against human trafficking.” (For specific blogs on this topic, check here or here.) More than anything, I want to love what He loves, see what He sees, and do what He does.

This, of course, is a work in process. Although I sincerely long to live before Him in the beauty of simplicity, I still get way too busy and way too distracted, way too often. Fortunately He is amazingly patient, unfathomably kind, and abounding in mercy and grace. Because of His great love, I continue to press on to lay hold of that for which He laid hold of me.

I started this blog many years ago and don’t have the time for it I once did but, as time allows, I continue to express my heart here–always with the hope that others will catch a glimpse of His.
