And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. —Romans 8:28
In all things.
Not some things. Not most things. Not almost all things …
In all things.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him …
I know. You know. We know. God never fails. He never lies. His hands are never tied. He wins with any hand. He wins …
In all things.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him …
God doesn’t cause all things. All things certainly are not good. But because God only does good, he works for the good; he reveals the good, he redeems the good …
In all things.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him …
If God is for me who can be against me? He has loved me with an everlasting love and nothing can separate me from his love. He is a rewarder–and a strong supporter–of those who diligently seek him …
In all things.
Today, if you love him; if you’ve been called according to his purpose–you can rest in his promise. He will work ALL things together for your good. Nothing is too hard for him and no one is beyond his reach. The end will be better than the beginning. From the smallest inconvenience, to the most heartbreaking loss–his love never fails and his goodness prevails …
In all things.
I just wanted you to know that I stumbled upon your blog and was blessed. I am sure your grandmother (I read your “about” page) would be/is proud.
For the record, I preached from Psalm 34, today. At one point I stressed the words of verses one when David said, “I will bless the Lord at ALL times.” I thought of that when I read your post.

Yep – its is ALL THINGS. Our pastor spoke on this a while ago. Not some things, not the good things, not the bad things – ALL things. Great message – thanks for the reminder Cindy!

This is were I think many, including myself, fall short. We want to take this in to our own hands when we should let God take it and use it in all things for the glory of His kingdom.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Amen sis on this post. We need to be clear on God’s word He said, And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. –Romans 8:28
and what we forget and miss is the second part where it says thsoe who have been called according to his purpose. Not everyone is doing God’s purpose and if they aren’t then He did not call them. But many will fall to this verse and say yes the Lord is going to give me good works well first of all you must be called according to His purpose and the way we know His purpose is when we know we are in His Will
Great job
